Is Pilates for Men and Women?

Absolutely! The beauty of Reformer Pilates is that it activates all muscles, improves coordination and increases strength, flexibility and stamina, for everybody and type! 

  

Do you have an age requirement?

Yes, you must be 18 years older to attend a class at p96.STUDIO. Anyone younger than 18 needs approval, please reach out to admin@p96studio.com with questions.

 

What do I wear to class?

Appropriate clothing is essential as you are going to work up a sweat! We recommend gym tights, leggings or shorts and either a t-shirt or tank top of an athletic material. Grip socks are required and sweat towels are encouraged. Both are available for purchase at the studio. You can also purchase p96. STUDIO merchandise to wear during class!

 

Do I need to be fit to attend a class?

Absolutely not. Instructors can modify exercises to accommodate everyone’s ability. 

 

Do you have a beginner’s class?

We have options for all levels and every class we offer is suitable for all levels of experience! Please read our class descriptions for more details to see what class meets your needs best! If you’re still unsure after reading the website, please reach out to admin@p96studio.com

 

What do I need to know for my first class?

Please arrive 5 minutes early to your first class. This will allow the time to get familiar with our studio and meet your Instructor. No mobile phones during classes for the respect of others and your safety. Wearing grip socks and a sweat towel in the studio is required during class.

 

How many people are in a class?

To keep things safe and effective, there can be up to 12 people in a class!

 

Do you allow walk-ins?

Yes! For new clients, you’ll need to have filled out the appropriate paperwork online before taking the class.

Are Private Sessions available?

Yes, p96.STUDIO offers both 1 on 1 Private Classes and Small Group Privates. All sessions are 30 minutes and can be booked through the website.

 

What if my class is cancelled?

Classes need a minimum of 1 clients to proceed. 

 

Can I still join a class if I am running late?

If you are more than 5 minutes late to your class, you will not be able to join. It disrupts the class and Instructor (please be mindful of others).

 

I can't make a class I signed up for, what is the refund policy?

There is a 12-hour cancellation policy for group classes and 24 hours for private classes. If you can’t make your class, it is your responsibility to cancel before the 12-hour time mark or 24-hour time period. You will either lose the session or be charged  if you do not meet this requirement.  

  • A Late Cancel fee of $20 will be charged if it's within the 12-hour (group classes) or 24-hour window (privates).

  • A No Show Fee of $20 is charged when you are absent from a Group Class you were booked in.

We understand that life can sometimes get in the way, but we need to be fair to all clients.

 

What is our membership cancellation policy?

After the contract minimum is met, we require a 28-day notice via email to admin@p96studio.com for all membership cancellation requests. No exceptions.

 

Can I transfer or share sessions?

No, sessions are not transferable and can only be used by the person who purchased them. Class packs cannot be shared with more than one person as all class packs are for individual use only.

 

Can I bring my baby or young child to my group class or private session?

No, we do not allow this for any clients as this is a safety issue for the studio.

 

Is there any requirement for post-natal clients?

Please wait until you have received full clearance from your Physician at your 6-week check-up.

 

Can I take a class if I am pregnant?

Yes, you can take group or private sessions. If you are pregnant, you must inform the Instructor at the beginning of each class, as modifications of certain exercises will be required.
